Our Process.
Whether you have an understanding of the interior design process or are engaging with it for the first time, we tailor our services to meet your specific requirements. By collaborating closely with yourself, lessors, contractors, engineers, and other key stakeholders, we will transform your vision into a meticulously designed space that fulfills all your needs.
Below is a foundational outline of our documentation deliverables. Please note that these can be customized to align with your project’s particular criteria.
PHASE 1
Complimentary Consultation.
During the initial consultation, we will gather comprehensive information about your project to ensure a tailored design approach. This includes your business objectives, inspirational imagery, rough sketches of your envisioned space, design preferences and dislikes, equipment and furniture requirements, budget considerations and project timelines, and contact details of lessors and any other relevant associates.
PHASE 2
Fee Proposal.
Based on the brief provided during the consultation, we will prepare a comprehensive fee proposal detailing the design scope, documentation phases and deliverables, project administration, inclusions, payment structure, and timelines for your review and approval.
PHASE 3
Spatial Planning.
Upon approval of our fee proposal, we will commence work on developing a spatial plan for your tenancy that aligns with all project requirements while adhering to the National Construction Codes and Australian Standards. Once the spatial plan is approved, we will proceed with the Preliminary Documentation Phase.
PHASE 4
Preliminary Documentation.
Building on the approved Spatial Plan, we will bring your vision to life through the Concept and Preliminary Design phase. This includes detailed 3D renders, material finishes, comprehensive plans, and key elevations. With this package, you will be well-equipped to obtain initial approvals from developers, landlords, and shopping centers, as well as tender to shopfitters for preliminary build costs and timelines.
PHASE 5
Final Documentation.
Once the Preliminary Package has been approved by all relevant parties, we will proceed to the Final Documentation phase. This includes all technical drawings required for construction, ensuring full compliance with building codes, and can be submitted to the relevant authorities for approval.
Once approval is received for the Final Documentation Package, we remain available throughout the build process to coordinate with shopfitters, contractors, lessors, and other relevant parties as needed.
